Update: Man arrested over the ddeath of 20-year-old girl, Precious Aigbokhode

 

Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested one Zachariah in connection with the death of 20-year-old girl, Precious Aigbokhode, who was raped and stabbed to death at Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the young lady was the only one home when she was attacked, as her family had left for church.

A close source who confirmed Precious’s death said the incident happened on Sunday, July 17, at her residence in Agenebode, Edo State.

She had been stabbed multiple times in various parts of her body when her family found her after they got home from church on Sunday.

They also noted that blood stains were found all around her room.

Friends have trooped to social media to mourn the demise of the 19-year-old. A Facebook user, Joseph Daniel, wrote, “Can’t believe you are no more dear. RIP. “

A heartbreaking video making the rounds online showed the mother of the deceased crying profusely as she sat on the floor by her daughter’s corpse.
